Musikfest Exordium
Think of it like your favorite prep for Musikfest
Recorded live Tuesday 8/1 at 7 pm ET from the Flying V Poutinerie.
- Christie Vymazal, proprietor of the Flying V, will give us details of how their prep is going and special menu items for this year.
- Patrick Brogan, Chief Programming Officer of ArtsQuest talk with us about “Returning Favorites”, key “must see” acts, and the Best Day of the Fest. Also join in the fun of trying to predict unique cover songs.
- Jack Silva, Superintendent of Bethlehem Area School District, and learn about BASD/ArtsQuest program where students learn the process and book a line-up of bands
- Bobby Martrich of EPAWA wil join us for Weather Projections
- Igor from the Red Elvises shares his amazing story growing up in the Ukraine and coming to the US. He’ll even perform an acoustic song live.
- Richard Liu, the chair of the Performing Arts board at ArtsQuest. We’ll learn how the board works to bring arts and culture to the Lehigh Valley. He will also share how helpful the free Musikfest app is for navigating the schedule and seeing as many of the artists as you can
- Ever wonder what it takes to set up everything and respond to incidents throughout? Gerard Longo, the “Sheriff of the Northside”, comes back every year to play a vital role in getting Musikfest up and running smoothly. We’ll also have an exciting announcement to share!
