It’s not every day you get to spend time with a highly decorated cognitive neuroscientist who’s also an award winning musician who has done research on what happens in your brain when listening to music.

You may know him as the lead singer and guitarist for Argonaut & Wasp, but this week Trey Schibli joins us to talk about his visual art and what it means to be a Creative Technologist. He’s done work for Disney, Netflix, MTV and the Foo Fighters.

After delivering a powerful close to Musikfest 2022, Fox Royale have continued to deliver at a high level – releasing new music and non-stop touring to support. Join us as they take a moment while on tour to share with us their story, their song writing and their music. We have a very cool recording of their high-energy performance during Musikfest and they will be performing live acoustically during the show!

In our longest interview to date, we are joined by Liam McCormick and John Seeterlin of The Family Crest. We hear what it is like to be an independent musician who believes in building community, recording in very unusual spaces, and what the “extended family” of The Family Crest means. Liam also gives a striking performance!

This week we are joined by Joe Makoviecki of Jackson Pines and learn…a LOT!! In addition to band history, we learn about the different guitar playing styles of Appalachia, some folk music history of the Pine Barren of NJ, and even some blueberry history. We also dive into their song writing process, and Joe even plays a song live during the interview of something not yet released!

This week we bask in the captivating grooves and brassy swagger that is MarchFourth.  We’re joined by several talented members of the entire offering – trumpet, sax, trombone, percussion, bass and even dancers, acrobats and stiltwalkers!  All befitting of a MarchFourth experience.
